Preschool Library

Dear Preschoolers and Parents!

Welcome to the German School Preschool Library. It is located in the school library on the first floor of the main school building.

Ms. Martina Voss (seahorse group) is the librarian, who is ready to help with your child’s library needs.

The German School Preschool Library has over 1,000 books, 400 story cassettes, 100 DVDs, 100 song & story CDs and 400 videos in the German language. Videos are available in the PAL-system as well as the NTSC-system. The DVDs can be played on a region-free or a German-system DVD player.

The library is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. You and your child are very welcome. You can borrow materials for up to two weeks to enjoy at home.

In addition your child will visit the library every 14 days on Monday mornings with their teachers. Each preschooler will get a library bag with their name tag attached. Please send the bag and borrowed materials back on library day. Lost bags will cost $5.00 to replace. At the end of the school year the bags need to be returned to the Kindergarten library.

Reminder: Don't forget to return your borrowed materials on the library day, otherwise you will not be able to check out new exciting books, videos etc. at that time.
