SEL - Cooperation with preschool and first grade

As in previous years the School Entry Level first invited the preschool children and then the first-graders to a joint activity in order to prepare them for the coming school year.

Teachers accompanied the children on a playful, educational and instructive “Bus Trip” during which the students in mixed-age groups looked for 12 hidden tasks in the classrooms and on the playground. These involve fun and challenging questions, instructions and tasks around the alphabet and the numbers. However, these also include Lego building tasks, movement cards and drawing on their backs. These are conducted and solved by the small groups.

This little trip into typical learning opportunities of the coming school year introduces the children tasks, questions, and expectations. They also have the opportunity to get to know the classrooms and learning environments which await them.
