Butterfly Project

What an amazing moment to see the butterflies fly.

Since Easter Break, our School Entry Level students have enthusiastically been watching the little caterpillars in their cage as they’ve grown bigger and bigger. Then, over a weekend, they had turned into chrysalis. What a surprise, now they all hung on the lid.

There was great anticipation. How long will it take until the first butterfly hatches?  Our curriculum, the life cycle of an insect, was an exciting educational experience as we observed it step by step.

We were happy and also a little sad to watch the butterflies fly up and away into the blue sky.
