Information

March 30, 2020:  Gov. Larry Hogan issued a stay-at-home order for Marylanders which means no one should leave their home for any reason other than essential work, to get food or other fundamental reason. The order takes effect at 8 pm.
For the GISW this means:

1. All GISW buildings will be closed for the foreseeable future.

2. In order to give our teachers and parents more time to prepare, we are postponing both parent nights that were scheduled for tonight to Thursday at the same time.

Distance Learning until Friday, April 24th, 2020.

We are here for you as we continue to prepare for the 2020/21 school year. The Admissions Office remains open. Please complete this form and we will contact you: https://giswashington.org/request-information-package.html

Volunteers

We want to introduce ourselves:

We are the team in the school kitchen,
practically perfect,
extremely involved,
always cheerful,
well informed,
and always open to new members!
Team spirit is a point of honor,
and the well-being of our children anyhow.

Due to your commitment it has been possible, on volunteer-basis, to feed your children in a healthy and cost-effective manner, since over 20 years.

If you have any questions please contact Ms. Koehler, Director of Food Services and Operations, in the cafeteria.

Not only mothers make wonderful cafeteria volunteers.
