Grade 5: Orientation Days

Dear parents of our new fifth graders,

Your child will enter the Middle School level of the GISW very soon. We would like to celebrate this important milestone by inviting you and your child to a welcome event on Thursday, August 22nd, at 8:15am, in the auditorium.

The first two days of school will follow a special schedule, which is shown below. On Friday, August 23rd, we are having a breakfast for the fifth graders and their parents beginning at 8:10am in the cafeteria. The breakfast will be provided by the NEWBEES and the parents of our fourth graders.

On the first day of school, your child will get his/her own locker. Your child should bring a combination lock (please program the number for the lock in advance and practice opening and closing it with your child).

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you and your child on August 22nd!

Sincerely,
